Family Programs

At YMCA of the Rockies, we strive to provide unifying experiences for families through fun-filled activities. Our Family Programs offer a variety of special events and classes for families to participate in together. From board games and movie nights, to classes about fire building and local wildlife— our family programs are guaranteed to create lifelong memories.

We also have activities catered to our little learners! These programs allow young children time to experience the outdoors with their family, while learning something new in the process. Some of these activities include ball play, parachute games, and our most popular “little explorers” program, where children will have the opportunity to go on a short nature walk and embrace their natural wonder of the world around them.

Our family programs are based out of the Sweet Memorial Building and are posted every week in our Activity Guide. Check the Activity Guide for class times and meeting locations. Any questions and inquiries can be handled by our Program Department at 970-586-3341 ext. 1104.

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult during all programs and activities.
